change air filter?

    first time I've changed my air filter... 10k miles on my truck. when you look at this do you think "you could put another 20k miles on that" or "meh, probably about time to change" or "change it now". it's definitely heavier than the new filter in my hand. same OEM filter. I'd appreciate any advice! thanks.

    Under the tacoma maintenance schedule, the air filter gets changed at 30k miles for normal use.

    I don't remove and reinstall filters myself....the seals can harden up and not seal as well the second time. If I remove it I replace it. $.02

    Maybe after years..... fyi just removed / replaced my moms 07 4 runners v6 OEM original air filter.... the rubber seal was still 100% plyable and 0 cracks

    That stated.... after 107k miles it was WAY past time for a new one.... 30k mi is a good proper interval.
