Looks like we're going to end up with about 2 degrees of caster and 0 camber.

I never really had any issue with 1 degree of caster so that should be fine.

I don't want to add any more caster at the top and lose clearance at the back of the wheel well.
I also don't know that i trust the camber adjustment in the UCAS. There's nothing more than the friction of the top bolt to hold it in place so I'm just going to leave them in the outermost position.

So all in all the ucas gained me a degree of caster and some needed clearance from the coils. The stock UCA was just rubbing the coils at full droop.

    Nice job!
I wouldn't worry about the top nut. I'd be pretty happy with 2° caster and 0° camber myself.
Now go bounce it off some rocks and see if it changes anything.

Tim at Firestone paints the cams for me when it's done so that if anything does change from bouncing off the rocks I can put it back easily.

Provided I haven't bent anything of course....

I remember reading about the VSC and yaw sensor and all that stuff a long time ago when I was considering lifting my truck.

I never had a problem and the light never came on so I completely forgot about it.

The VSC light came on when the spindle bending incident happened. Maybe because the wheel got so wonky that there was a detectable difference in wheel speeds?

Anyways, the light has been on solid ever since and stayed on after fixing everything and getting an alignment.

@chenbro suggested the zero point calibration so I searched and found it on here (I love this site!)

Did the reset and calibration using a jumper wire and everything worked and the light is out :fingerscrossed:

Took the pile back to the same trail that broke her today.....

I was really hoping to find what ever it was that I hit but I couldn't.

Nothing fell off. Truck still drives fine so I'm calling the front end rebuild a success :D

Also threw in a water displacement test

Are you still using this kit? Would you recommend it? I'm looking to do the same thanks.

Yes. I've since switched to an MV50 as it's a bit faster, smaller, and I don't have to leave the engine running. The hose setup is nice though. It's not life changing or anything but it's convenient to fill all four tires from a single point.

I can't say I'd recommend the guy selling them though... One of the chucks has always leaked. When I emailed him about this, he told me that they were all tested and it should work fine. Basically told me to pound sand. I marked that chuck and always just put it on first and removed it last so that the fact that it leaked didn't really matter.
After a couple of uses, the mechanism that locks it to the valve stem quit working and I had to take it apart and rebuild it. That worked for a while, but it just happened again.
I'll probably just buy another chuck and replace it.

You could certainly just buy all the parts and assemble a kit yourself. The problem I ran into was sourcing all the parts. I never did find everything at one place, and by the time you bought all the parts it cost as much or more as buying it where I did.

Sounds a lot like how my onboard hot water project was with 6+ vendors, etc. Welp that gives me food for thought. I'll look into costs building v. Kit. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

    I haven't yet.
Honestly, I'm not quite sure I understand the concept.
If the body wants to move relative to the frame and you prevent it from moving, are you placing more stress on the sheet metal then?

I should probably just listen to people that understand things better than I do, but I have this need to understand stuff :D
