Well I filled out all the paperwork last week and got fingerprinted today. Tomorrow I do the medical eval and then I'm not sure what else I'll have to do until I start on the 21st.

    What's new with you?

I was just on the phone with him yesterday actually. I hear from him about once a month when he replies to my texts. He's doing good other than some back trouble. He doesn't talk about himself much so I don't usually know much though.

Do I dare ask what you are hunting with Lisa around? haha

Uh... Nothing at the moment... I haven't messed with it since Thursday and it still wasn't starting. I have 2 more things to try but after that I think it is beyond my skills and tools... Even then those 2 things are just to try to get it to start, after that I find out just had bad the damage is... I've been pricing out some LS engines though. If it is catastrophic hopefully I can come up with the funds for a swap and just upgrade rather than replace the old.

Thanks Brady, please let him know a lot of us miss him around here, but understand and send our best wishes his way.

For the record, caribou, grouse, and maybe ducks if we can get our plan together. ;)

    Will do!

How's Caribou hunting? I've only hunted Mule deer and Elk. I am more of a big game hunter, but I have shot my share of grouse and doves. My wife is a die hard duck hunter though so she's jealous too!

Me too! Though the timing is horrible... Now that I have a job we have been house hunting heavily so that is what all of our savings is dedicated to right now...

    Thanks buddy ...

When the herd comes down into the trail accessible zone, it's awesome. But they weren't there last week when we went. The zone they are in predominately now is fly in only; big dollars that I can't afford. Season stays open 'til 30 Sep, so we're waiting for a report they've moved down. Lisa claims to have warned them thru her moose network. ;)

If we can get our act together, mainly work up a blind on my scanoe, this will be the first time I've gone after duck since I was a kid back in VA.
