Weird, most of the shops I've been to only have the universal adapter, not the actual hub centric fitting. I'm a pain in the ass and ask if I'm not at a Toyota dealer.

No disrespect, but it ain't false. The tires were on backorder through Cooper, they had no more of them. Discount Tire however, had remaining inventory. It quite quickly got claimed. There's a treasure-trove of emails and information I have to back up my experience. But in the end, it don't matter because they are soon to be available again, and there will be enough for a while!:bananadance:

You know what, I'm not sure what they use actually... I've watched them do it, but I'm ignorant on what the tools are called...

I'm using balancing beads in my new tires and they're working great... No moar wheel weights to lose in the rocks.

Glad you'll finally be getting some of these awesome tires!

Weird thing is, I didn't get them from DT reserves. They were shipped from Cooper plant/warehouse in Indianapolis straight to the DT I ordered through:notsure:

Also, no disrespect taken. We all just sharin info here brudda:drunk:

Just did my first gas mileage calculation with the 255/85 KM2s, and it looks like I'm getting about the same as my 265/75 KOs. Around 17mpg combined.

Also still haven't had any rubbing with 16x8 wheels with 0 offset, and stock UCAs. Minor plastic trimming at front of wheel well, no cab mount cop.

I'm also curious to see too. I'm considering this size as my next tire.

Personally I don't think the 265/75 16s look bad with the lift, but the stock size tires do look too small.

Had an idiot tell me the same thing, then he went as far to say nobody makes that size because it doesnt make any sense. He was part of the super genius club for sure, how else does somebody get a minimum wage job in customer service?!

I got the ST's by accident when the tire shop ordered the wrong tires, overall i am very pleased with them. Myself and many others have been surprised by their off road performance. I had the st maxx on my last truck and no complaints either. Next time around though inwant the toyos if the price is not retarded.
