Guys.... I just got a greater idea. New plan. I figured if I'm going to solder, u might as well do it only once. The tundra's tow package comes with the 7pin and 4 pin combo. Don't need no stupid adaptors.

What you guys think? Yay or nay

I thought about that but it's way more expensive. The generic 7Pin works good and all you need is an extra 3 pin connector set. Also I couldn't find the other side of the 3 and 4 pin connectors to match.

Damn. Your right. I'll have to salvage that part. Hit up my junk yard buddy, we're going on a hunt. This will be fun.

I like being thrifty. Though using the factory 4 pin harness strays from that but it looks good.

No pictures to share, but I have an adapter available through DRAW-TITE that plugs into a 7-pin connector, and allows you to plug in a 5-pin round, a 4-pin flat and a 3-pin. Seems like there's one more too....With the factory 7-pin and that adapter, I haven't ran across a trailer yet that wasn't "plug and play" ready. The adapter was something like $35....
