I'm wanting to do something with my grille on my 2013. To me it almost looks cheap. I asked a guy at the dealership and he said if I want to change it I would have to cut it out. (And not sure I wanna do all that) Anyone change theirs?

    Suggestions? Comments? Experience?

I like the TRD Pro Grille too except for the price.

You do have to cut out the center section of the grill to put in the mesh style grills. Unless you buy one that someone has already done and is ready to just install on your truck

I think if I do anything it will be the whole thing. Not just the inside part. I just watched a video and it looks like a mess installing the mesh styles.

Thanks for the correction! The inserts are supposed to snap out by carefully using a screwdriver.

Those look to replace the entire grill surround. Very easy to do, I did mine in 10 minutes swapping from chrome TRD to color matched.

I have a GrillCraft mesh grill and you do have to cut out the majority of the center of the grill to install it.I bought another color matched grill in order to keep my original grill in case i wanted to swap them out on occasion.I like my GrillCraft a lot but they're overpriced in my opinion.downloadfile-27.jpg

The Grillcraft Mesh for the Tacoma starts at $309?

Customcargrills.com, got mine for $50 plus shipping. Plenty of money left over to buy a Dremel to cut the surround. A little scary at first but just follow the video on the custom car grill site, cant go wrong.

I'd love to but he isn't selling a 2012 satoshi yet right? I would gladly pay the $500 for that, not the pro though :/
