Same here. I'm on many forums and this is by far the worst. The behavior that the staff is allowing is going to discourage a lot of new members that could possibly help contribute to this forum.

 

These 3rd gen forums are particularly bad on this site but it is temporary. Over the year the 1st and 2nd gen forums have slowly filled up with a lots of really useful information. Shit posting there is pretty minimal.

The 3rd gen section is going to clean up, finally, once people have trucks in their hands. Right now it is a forum full of the midsize truck peanut gallery and a few of them are insufferable. Slowly it will transition into a forum full of actual owners and it will become useful.

 

The issue is, like thecelt said, many of the noobs who came here seeking advice and a decent place to
post will have left or after reading some of the childish shit will have never joined at all. The place could
use some moderation.

 

Blkbelt42.... exactly! I loved both my gen2 tacos. My current single cab just is not big enough for what I need now. I understand people not liking gen3 and can handle them voicing their opinion. But day after day and in every new thread that pops up really sucks A$$. Thanks for the support everyone!

My local dealership is telling me it will be around the end of September or 1st of October before they get the 2016 Tacoma. I'm going to wait until I see 1 in person & drive it before I decide if I like it.

 

I had a '96 for 19 years until the frame rotted out. The 2nd gen toco's are doing the same thing. Why can't people let get of the old and embrace what should be "new and improved" ?
I bought a '14 Tundra new, don't like it...will be trading it for '16 Tacoma...who knows, at age 51, this might be the last vehicle I ever buy !!

 

Just for giggles, you guys all know how to ignore members on the forum correct? It will block their posts from your screen, but it won't help if a member quotes them.
