    Build date was either the 17/19 of August. Can't recall. I put my name on an allocated one on the 20th of August. As of a few days ago I'm still being told it will arrive on the 15th.

    Yeah, my build date got pushed back - due to this as far as I can figure - was originally 9/17 now 9/24 - there was a mix up and the dealer told me today at one point but she was looking at a DCLB Sport she is tracking which was today and is now pushed back a week - she didn't have details on why but both were loaded up so seems like it might be related. She's trying to find out wtf is going on.

    I emailed my salesman today. I placed my order two weeks ago. This is his response: (I'm in Eastern PA)

    "Checking with my inventory manager, he has submitted your order to Toyota on the 27th of last month. So far no update on VIN or build date. He also checked on other orders of 2016 Tacomas in our region and there is no status of their build dates either.

    So right now the ball is in Toyota's court and I'll keep you updated on any changes."
