OP if your still out there....

still liking these over the ARB? i am about to get a set for myself want to go as fast as i can down that road in the original picks. Do you think this would be a solid choice for desert running if i'm rocking a leer cap and some plywood storage boxes? 2-300 lbs?

Not at all. I've not had any noise issues with these.

I guess I've got to start this very soon....

Try using Aerospace 303. Completely spray and wipe off excess as desired. You won't regret it. I bought mine on Amazon. To be honest you want a big bottle because you'll soon realize that anything black, rubber and or plastic will love this stuff. My tires, under carriage, wheel wells and engine love this!

what are those eight black donuts in the baggy at the top center location of the second picture in post #1 (next to the ubolts)?

I jut picked up a used set of expo leafs, and the original owner (had the kit installed professionally) had no idea what those eight black donut parts were for...

They are the bushings for the springs, they come in two parts for each eyelet.

But the leafs already have the bushings installed from the original owner. Those donuts in the package are black anodized metal.

Do they go between each leaf eye and frame mount/shackle? Is that what you mean?

Do you have a pic of yours specifically? In the picture I am pretty certain those are bushings. I have all pro expo springs, and for the life of me all i remember were bushings and springs. In the pic in the first post, he doesn't have bushings installed, so again I am pretty sure those are the bushings.
