looks awesome. I would not worry about the downshifting, the truck just likes to cruise at a low rpm and needs to shift to get some power. it is there, just higher in the RPM. My 2011 does the same thing. I love the color and you picked a great angle to take the pic. Have fun, it will last forever.

Yes, the engine does remind me of my old Dodge Caravan and the grill is a little large. The must be 12" of space between the grill and the radiator. Don't get me wrong, I love this truck and it's exactly what I want and need. The ride is very nice, I don't notice any of the engine noise so many people complain about in the older models. Engine is nice but I'm kinda wondering why they didn't go for a 4.0. I'm guessing they will save that for the next model. One thing I noticed; I am 6' tall and had a little difficulty getting in and out of the old models, this one seems easier without hitting my head.

I don't have any mods planned, just going to keep it stock. Played around modifying Jeeps and other trucks, going to leave this one alone

Congrats on the new truck! Keep posting your observations. The little nuances are great info. We were well aware the 3.5 was not going to be a powerhouse.

Great looking truck and thanks for sharing. That's the color I will be getting just in the OR. All these Sport pictures and no OR's. I want to see a damn MGM DCSBORFTMFW.

Price was $39,000 OTD. It had just been unloaded from the semi as I pulled on the lot. Had to wait all day for prep and stuff. truck came with the Qi cordless phone charger but I have a Android s4, I don't think it will work with my phone. One thing seems like a glitch is the GPS. As I'm driving down the road the map is backwards so as I'm driving south, the map shows me going north. Not sure if it is a calibration thing or the system is messed up

There is a calibration you can do for the built in compass - its in the million page manual somewhere!
