sorry.. it got late last night, didnt want to be on the ol' T-Dubs anymore..

Test drove a DCSB Sport 2wd.

first off.. the new 3.5... leaves me wanting more.. feels sluggish off the line, and just in general really. slow, delayed throttle response. down shifting manually and leaving it in a lower gear definitely helps, but that new 6 speed is definitely meant for cruising and commuting.

The interior was definitely my favorite part.. soooo much nicer. the fit and finish of everything is leaps and bounds better than previous gens. the cabin noise is non existent. its quiet, smooth, and the features...

    THEY ADDED CARGO LIGHTS!! finally..

The info screen in the cluster is awesome and useful.

New JBL setup is pretty damn sweet.. and clean. Didnt get a chance to fully test it out, but im hoping its decent, as I dont really want to mess with aftermarket stereos anymore.. just over it.

I sat around for 2 hours just BS'n with them. It was later at night so no one was there. They had just washed the loaded silver sport and pulled it into the showroom. Myself with about 5 guys were crawlin under it, checkin everything out, talkin about it, etc. Was a good time and they were great people. They also gave me the best deal I've found so far.

They offered 25k for my truck.. And I get to keep the suspension, wheels, tires, and lightbar. They want everything else (grill, headlights, blower, headers, etc)

    1.9% for 75 months.. For a fully loaded sport.. 360 a month

I have a lot to think about..

thats the problem and whats holding me back..

I'm honestly in a different spot in life now. I dont wheel that much anymore (at least heavy wheeling, still do small trails to camp, hunt, shoot, etc) and I'm kinda over the whole mod thing.. I'm looking for a quiet, simple, clean DD. The fact that the new Taco's have everything I want out of the box, plus better gas mileage. I can throw my Kings, wheels, and tires on it and call it a day.

    but yes.. the power.. :pout:

Damn.. the numbers are adding up for this impression. I suspect/hope the manual will be better but it might be a minute and a half before a dealership around me has one for me to test drive.
