I thought they would?? I thought first gen tundra had same front suspension as 2nd Gen taco?

 

I believe lca's are, but i think strut geometry is different.

I put mine in the gas filler door just to keep it out of the bed pockets. Just a idea.

I just never really liked that spot and i thought that it would get in the way there. I put mine in the more frontward left bed pocket. I put it as high and as deep into it as i could to keep it out of the way.... sometimes I forget it's there.

Ha Kidding. I took that plastidip off the "beadlock" that you put on, what three years ago now?. That was an awful experience.

No, not really... it didn't have any water in the diff, the bolts backed out of the Detroit

 

Diff breather locate is a good idea for wheeling mud,creeks, etc. Gear oil with a small amount of water is mostly still gear oil unlike engine oil. If you gets swamped and stuck some where in the water for any length of time, like I did in my Blazer, the diff cools and sucks it inside. This is bad. We'll worth th 15 min mod IMO.
