Dude did the OP truck come out of your pocket? Why are you complaining about someone you don't know paid for their truck? Just curious if you think he will take his truck back because you think he paid to much?

Don't give a rat's ass that HE PAID that much. Just saying I would not pay anywhere near that for a truck that probably has the same shitty leaf spring suspension, the same shitty wheel bearings, needle bearing, rotting frame. Just stating that that is crazy considering my 2015 TRD Sport DCLB 4x4 auto was a little over 31,000 OTD and they haven't made that many changes that justify 39,000 OTD especially as it is not even a Limited. Don't see a sun roof, didn't see it stated if he had leather. Glad he got it, and loves it. But to me with a couple of cosmetic changes no way justifies that outrageous price increase.

31k OTD wow never seen a Tacoma with your options at a 28k price tag and then with taxes and all other good stuff its 31k for a 2015 model year lol yeah right...now your just being dramatic my 2013 TRD Offroad dcsb was 34k OTD. Quit bull shitting to make your point. Inflation sucks man get use to it

Next time travel to Boch Toyota here in Mass and get a good deal. No overhead buys all his stuff cash and gives great deals. Not my fault you got porked, so you get used to it. 34,000 OTD wow great haggling. Anyway time to unwatch this thread before this keyboard assassin gets the best of me.

Um nope after I was done with my trade, and added the remote start, and the extended warranty. Taxes etc etc. I financed 20,000 OTD.

I'm calling a truce here brothers and sisters. I'm just saying that 39,000 for a Tacoma to me is just not in my train of thought. Glad he got it, likes it. Probably loves it. But I just don't see how 1 model year newer with a few upgrades can justify that kind of coin. Truck is beautiful except the grill ( Sorry that is just way to big ) and good luck with it.

What dealership did you go to? I'm pretty close to you in Riverside country. La Quinta to be exact.

Wow, I paid about $29,000 for my new 2006 at the beginning of 2007, and I thought that was a shit load of money. At this appreciation rate, the 2026 model will be $49,000.

Based on annual CPI inflation, $29,000 in 2007 is equal to $33,337.23 today. If the inflation rate during that period continues over the next 11 years, $33,337 today would equate to $40,390.35.

My grandfather used to tell me a story of working at a gas station and pumping gas for 10 gallons for a dollar. He's dead now.

No one can "justify a price" more than the guy paying.....everything else is relative to one's own financial position

$35K was my "mental value limit" for the new Tacoma (or $6000 and my 15) and I came well enough under it. For others, $40K is worth the money for what they want, For still others, they prefer to find used $20K rigs...

Different geography means different final prices as well.

GUYS... You "Mericans" got it easy.... Hardly any real taxes..

We Canucks gotta pay 30% diff. to match your damn dollar right now, and then we gotta add 13 friggin' percent for taxes in Ontario....

That makes a $39,000 truck...+ $13,000.00.....+ $6,800....===..$58,800.00..... That's almost too much... I think I'll ride the ATV to work instead...!!!
