Sluggish is not the word I want to associate with spending $35,000 on a truck

Hey I'm just saying that's how I felt.

Maybe like someone said it just needs to be driven more to "free up"

Where are you located? I just searched Lancaster & New Holland websites. They still have a shit load of 2015's to get rid of. I chatted with someone online (lame). Of course, they want your name & phone number so someone can call you. I said...NOPE. I'll call back later. They don't have a clue....

Congrats! Hope you love it. Cool to see the Gen1 in the background, love the tall side windows on the Gen1. I like the fender styling on the 2016, like that they rounded the wheelwells more than the Gen2. Dislike the trend to shorter side windows on newer designs of most vehicles, not just the Tacoma. Love the rear end on the 2016, that 3-piece rear bumper and stamped tailgate is sweet.

There are 40 '15's between three dealers in/near Allentown, I just looked. One of them has 24 or so. I tried to deal on a 15 DCORSBAT in July, they wouldn't budge from MSRP so I told them i'd wait for the '16. I inquired about ordering one, no dice. Supposedly the one is scheduled to get a few on lot at the end of the month. Don't know what trim levels, but I told him to call me so I can test drive one.

He said he drove a 2013 right before. He noticed no difference between the engines. If someone didnt tell him it was a different engine he wouldnt have noticed.

I guess the small town dealers are probably left in the dust - for a while longer.... and that's OK.
I hope they'll have one in October when I take the truck in for frame replacement - I can at least take a look and research - what I can't get versus what I need. I'd love to wait until spring - so the crappy weather, salt, cinders don't screw up a nice new truck! We'll see..... It'll probably take a while for them to have exactly what I want anyway.

I'm in touch with dealerships in Hamburg, Lebanon, Harrisburg, and Lancaster if you want to share information. So far as far as pricing everyone isn't willing to move off MSRP. Once I hear from them when they expect them to hit lots I'll let you know.

Lancaster, Harrisburg, and Lebanon have all responded they don't think they'll see trucks on the lot until late October or early November. Both Harrisburg and Lancaster stated they don't plan on moving off of MSRP but when the time comes we can "discuss things" further.

I already have one on order for two weeks now. I will likely be able to get my salesman to move on the pricing as my family has bought five cars from him over the past 20 years and he is a pretty reasonable guy. I'll use that ammunition on the other dealerships to try to start a battle.

This is what one reviewer on utube said about driving one. It drove well and the pick up felt like the gen2. Why would it not. The six speed adds a second OD and the torque is the same. The acceleration of one trying it out is usually low speed up to 60 mph where torque is the deciding fact.....it is the same in both the old and new. And, if you don't let it wind up, you won't get the torque of the old one. So it might appear sluggish compared.

Performance Toyota in Reading, PA shows one on their website. Actual VIN # too. I emailed them to inquire. I think it's a DCLB Sport.
