Giving an opposing opinion is not trolling. There are truly those who think that Toyota screwed up on the looks of this truck. I, for one, care what my truck looks like. It's not all about creature comforts, for me. I was fully prepared to buy a 2016 DCSB 4x4 Sport...until I saw it.

I wondered about that air dam, I hate seeing them on trucks. Does O.P. or anyone else know if it's easily removed with just a few screws? Or how is that air dam attached and how easy is it to remove?

Funny thing is everyone says it's a 2.5 gen because the exterior hasn't changed. I think it's a natural evolution....

Not sure it will be totally redesigned until one more generation. So the wait is on for 2nd generation. Only about 20 more years. Good news is 2nd gen's should still be running.

Looks much different than 2nd gen. To me looks like it's incorporated into the hood instead of sitting on it.

Just checked it and yeah I see what you mean. If it were me and I never intended to put it
back on, I'd just cut the thing off.

I was about to say the exact same thing. Wonder if that's real or exaggerated from the camera angle.

Here's a good shot showing it. It sticks out. I like to call it the pedestrian smasher.

Seems the "air dam" is not hurting the approach and depart angles. Still have 9+ inch of clearance, if I recall correctly.

No they don't. That's why the offroad has a few extra degrees of approach angle. Even with the air dam the approach angle is much better than the GM twins

The 4th Gens are gonna come out and would look nothing like the 2nd Gens, but have a few resemblances of the 3rd Gens and everyone's gonna claim it's not a redesign and then call it a 3.5 Gen. I can already tell.

Don't forget to have a cross and/or Jesus somewhere in or on the truck.
