And I'd be willing to bet if you did it with the price of gold you would see the exact opposite correlation.

So when prices increase the ratio falls.

But I *think* what he's trying to argue is that we're somehow due for a drop in the ratio, resulting in a higher silver price. Where he's basing that I have no idea.

 

It's like all charting, there is a direct correlation, if over time when the ratio hits 80 it goes back to a more realistic ratio because of market forces........
so do you think the ratio will keep going out of wack or come back down?????
And when that happens it's because silver is out pacing gold.....

 

The silver to gold ratio is basic PMs investing info that you have to understand......
Buy tracking the ratio you can see which metal is the better buy......
And it clearly shows that silver is about to correct....
the price of silver will out pace gold reducing the ratio back to normal.....
9/1 is the current mining ratio and the price ratio is at 75/1.....

1 more indicator that silver is a good buy.......

 

It shows the ratio is high but it does not prove anything is about to happen. That's wishful thinking.

 

it's 1 indicator that points to the price going the other direction.....80 seams to be the upper limit, but it could go to 100, but the correction is close....

It's simple to see if you know how to read charts......

that's 15 years of cycles....... investing is knowing the cycles..... everyone knows silver is at the bottom of a bear market.......

Just how much longer will the bottom last..... that is the key.........

I'm wearing down with the non sense.... Just like every thread on TW, if you say a lift helps with ground clearance there will always be the guys that say you have the same clearance with a stock truck.... and then don't go away.......

at the dealership we get lots of down time, it's either crazy or slow.....

But it's good for me to revisit some of the info for myself and then I just share it... and I look at the markets almost every day anyway......

So I am saying watch the market the next few weeks very closely and if any more flash crashes happen, I recommend backing out of your position and going to cash.... That includes 401Ks....... I moved to cash and shorted in may and I'm up..... If the fed goes to QE4ever hop back on the the money train and ride it out for another 7 years.........

Big dates coming up are 9-13 and 9-23... markets don't go sideways for long, they always go up or down.....

The Fed is going to stay at 0% just like I've been saying they are not going to raise rates..... So even though this is bad news the market is up a little this week........ Doesn't sound like they will officially announce QE4ever, though they are still buying on the side........

If they don't go to QE4ever the stock market will have to go down because it is over bought, even at these prices.....

We made it through the first danger date and nothing happened..... The next date to watch is 9-23..... After that I'm flying blind.....

The REAL SILVER PRICE is the same, so physical prices are the same.....

My last order of silver took over 10 days to get the longest I ever had to wait..... Don't know if it means anything......

 

1 of the BRICS is in trouble this could be good news for the dollar. But I don't think China needs the BRICS to start a new reserve currency.
The BRICS is more of an anti dollar agreement than a joint money system....

Now physical gold is being leveraged over 200-1... So there is 200 digital contracts for every 1 oz of gold..... so if the music would stop 199 people would get nothing for their investment..

 

What happened to the market crashing on the 7 year cycle you posted earlier? 9-13-15 came and went.

I'll give you credit on the fed as well. I have them leaving rates unchanged for 2015.
