Man that truck is beautiful. But I don't like Black absorbs too much heat and its a pain in the ass to keep clean.

My guess would have been heat shield though I've never heard of cutting anything off. Glad is fixed. Nice color choice!

They weren't really nice to me... I think bc I'm a girl and half of them are jealous my truck is cooler hahah but that's the only explanation I got. And that was what toyota technical support told them to do bc the tech HAD NO idea what was causing it. I'm just happy it's fixed... ofcourse now I'm like wow is this beast quiet lol

My last two trucks where white. Definitely hid more dirt than the black but I think the silver and pyrite hides it well most though black looks best when clean.

That's why I got silver, the color looks great in the sun. And here's an idea for your first mod some tint :D Go with 20% in the front and rear back glass and 5% on the back door windows. Really love being in the shade and cool. I also got 50% windshield tint but I'm putting another 50 later

I haven't seen many trd pro trucks up in my neck of the woods either. I had to take a flight to Las Vegas to get my trd pro with a 6sp manual transmission.

Nice truck OP! I'm jealous. I tried to get the same black TRD Pro from my local dealer, but they wanted $48,395 and wouldn't budge on the price. F**kin crazy.

Went to a different local dealership and got a black TRD OR 4x4 instead.

What everyone else already said. Damn that is a good looking truck. If I could have waited just a few more months to buy I would have picked one of those up too instead of my TSS. Welcome to the forum!

If you ask me the TSS package is junk. I will only get the TRD series on the tacoma or tundra

Hmmm idk. I didn't want to sound like an ass but I don't see the point in the package besides the wheels and a few little added things

To each their own. I intentionally did not get a TRD because I did not want the electric rear locker. My plan is to put a pair of ARB's in this one. TRD suspension is ok (had a TRD DCab before this truck) but when it was all said and done the ONLY TRD thing left on it was the rear locker. I saw no point in paying a premium for stuff I didn't plan to keep. I knew I'd be replacing everything under the truck so the TSS was fine. I have a pair of saws and Icon AAL for the rear as well as some rear icon shocks that will hopefully be installed this weekend. The ONLY thing I'd take from a TRD would be the front drivers seat! :) Take it easy.
