Spotted a submarine just in front of my house

That was my thought

 

Looks like an Fast Attack Submarine. The US Navy has a torpedo test range in BC.... Oh and it isn't half submerged, that is surfaced. Most of it remains underwater even when surfaced.

 

Ok, an old Navy saying here (easy now, it just a joke)

"40 men go down in a submarine..... 6 months later, 20 couples come up."

 

There are Canadian submarines which sail out of a CFB near Victoria.

Roughly 1200km....not the closest but I didn't know of any other Submarine facility in proximity.

 

Nanoose Bay test range , CFB Esquimalt or Bangor WA are all a lot closer no doubt it was just passing through though
