Hopefully will have time and some side $$ to get my truck to the fab shop soon. Jerry at bamf totally screwed me and really sucked all the fun out of this build for me. It's been almost a year since its been on the road, I need to get it back together and get out! Need to decide on shocks and take the whole mess in to be finished up, also need to paint the new rearend and anti-wrap bar. Hope to find some motivation soon.

I had this issue and chased it for weeks, turned out to be outer tie rod ends were corroded from the truck sitting all the time.

Damn Mike that sucks to hear that BAMF screwed you over. Jerry won't see any of my $$ knowing how things worked out for you.

Your truck honestly is one if the most badass Tacomas I have ever seen - it made my rig look like a Camry wagon when they were parked next to each other. I remember thinking how considerate it was that you let me move my truck instead of just driving right up over the top of it. You have been a huge help to myself and a bunch of the other PNW guys - thank you for helping make our various mods happen! Your willingness to host our motley crew, let us use your sweet shop and tools, and to hang out and drink beer while wrenching on trucks is truly appreciated.

You getting a clunk when turning from the front end? My trucks been making a clunking noise the last week or so usually when I turn left and close to steering wheel lock out.

Seems like going to need a good front end overhaul. Cv's, wheel bearings and tie rod ends.

I'm also getting a case of the clunks... suspect a too loose or too tight shackle or leafspring bolt. I don't mine squeaks but clunks can sure be a pisser.

Never been there.... Can a stock truck do this, considering how dry it is?

Yup, it's mainly a lot of flexing I thought. A few areas where ground clearance helps but isn't needed.

There are trails that are more hardcore at Tahuya though

    Ok, so my choice is...
Install new CB radio and black out my wheels, or
Go bash my truck. Let me think...
Ok, I'm in! See you all in Belfair.

You should be good, just need to power through the obstacles. Also take off your front mud flaps and your trailer wiring, those will for sure be scraped/destroyed.
