How are you liking your LCAs and any advice? Just ordered some.

    1) Did you use limit Straps?
    2) Did you use Bump Stop Spacers?
    3) Anything else? I would like to not screw these things up! lol

    Edit:

Found you posts about all of this and changed my questions.

    1) I see you used Limit Straps. Did you have to or is it just advised.
    2) I see you did and quite a few. lol
    3) Anything else? I would like to not screw these things up! lol

I am not going to be wheeling for a little bit, but do I need limit straps on there before I wheel? I do not want to mess up my purrdy Icons.

    Thank you!

    @LoadedTaco They're perfect, just what I wanted/expected from them.

Advice, depending on your upper control arms and shocks you may not need limit straps. I needed them because my setup was allowing the uca bolt/misalignment spacer to hit the cup that holds the uniball on full droop. Just make sure you check that everything is clearing before deciding on straps. If your uca is fine then your shock is probably the limiting factor.

Yea i'll post pictures of bump spacers.

It sucked grinding off the powdercoat to weld on the strap tab but I love having straps, droop out is so smooth.

Dont grind off the steering stops, just leave em.

here you can see I have two 3/8th spacers on the bottom of the spacer dirt king sends with the arms

Here you can see where my uca issue was.

Interesting! My UCA Uniball cups have some marks on them from the bolt hitting with my current set up. Perhaps thats why my uniballs went bad as soon as they did. I just recently replaced them. I am sure I will be alright without straps, temporarily, but I would like that kind of piece of mind. I am going to bed in a few min, but I am going to have more questions for you soon. Thank you for the help!

No prob. Careful with that witness mark you're getting. If that bolt breaks due to the stress its getting you will have a very bad time... That little mark is something you do not want to ever see. Straps definitely require some fab and time but worth it when you consider the possible outcomes without.

Thank you for the info. I am going to go ahead and limit it with straps before I wheel it again. I am sure it hasn't fatigued that much, but I don't want it too anymore! I'll look into a fresh bolt when I am all strapped.

x2 my setup, other than uca, is identical to Marc's and works flawlessly.

I did my bolts when I added the straps too, then you have a trail spare set as well.

What did you torque your uniball to on your LCAs? I'll hopefully be installing mine next weekend.
