I believe the pedestrian program is a joke. Your day, and perchance even life will be ruined if you get hit by this thing. I fail to see how it will do anything useful.

What a waste of a thread. License plate bracket looks fine. These 3rd gen haters are getting old.

Hell, I'd be honored to have that bracket. The dealer I got my current Tacoma from just screwed the license plate directly into the bumper.

3" closer to the truck, but still @6" too far in front of the grill ... #fatlipped

Me too ... sorta ... still trying to warm up to the front end. I'll very likely be buying one of these in 3 to 5 years.

I wish mine came with a license plate bracket instead of drilling directly into the bumper.

Anyone notice the really large gap between the hood and the front upper grill? It's really noticeable on that white truck. This is the first time I've noticed it, is this typical?

Also, there is a clear difference to me in the paint on the metal body, and the paint on the bumper/molding. If you look at it long enough the paint on the body looks almost bluish compared to the bumper. Check out the corner where the fender meets the fender flare and the front bumper....eeek!

We still have to have front plates here in CA. I'll run the front plate on mine as the piece of mind of not getting pulled over for it is more important to me. lol

edit: apparently some cities still have the red light cameras.

I was about to post the same question. Almost looks like the hood is popped.
