TRD supercharger availability update

    i would use dry ice on the shaft and let it sit for about 30 mins. Heat the pulley to 200° and it should slide on like butter. I use this method for a lot of pulley and gear installs at work for many type of mechanical applications

    Don't ice the shaft. Make sure the engine is cool, but I would definitely not cool it down any further than need be, as icing the shaft would most likely cause some reduction of the necessary expansion the pulley needs to have in order to get installed the moment it would touch the shaft.

    Yes while it might work, you do always risk cold temperature transfer to a hot pulley, thereby shortening the overall install time you have available to install it. It's not a method I would do and why risk it. Matter of fact my engine was warm when we installed mine, I did cool down the shaft to below room temp, but nothing over the top cold like freezing it.
