I'm new to TW, but the past few days I'm about to roll on. Every thread turns into a bash on someone's opinions or thoughts.

Can anyone recommend any other Tacoma forums that are a little more helpful and less negative?

    just sayin'...

3rd gen section is a shit show right now but it'll get better. It's just a mix of jealous ass holes and overly sensitive future 3rd gen owners right now.

This, give it a few months and everyone will cool down op. There is viable info though if you can ignore the bs. This website used to be and can still be very informative especially for DIYers.

This X2. When you have people who are passionate about something, they're going to pick apart every last detail and you'll naturally have people for it and against it. I personally see that as a plus.

Once people start getting 3rd gens it'll go back to business as usual I'm sure.

Sometimes I feel the same way, lots of keyboard commandos in here, HOWEVER there is a ton of great and useful info, and lots of great people, more than not I like to think.

It's a bit daunting at first, but once you get familiar with all the regular smack talk, it's just like saying "your mama" to your buddies. Although, everyone's got a soft spot for their particular truck, it does helps to have a thick skin. Trust me, this is a pissing contest. Not everyone, but most people will want to help you piss further... And yeah, the 3rd Gen. hoopla will die down, as soon as people start bringing them home and doing real world reviews. Guilty of 3rd Gen. bashing...

    nothing cool
this is probably the most useful Tacoma thread you'll find. you can Google any question about a Tacoma and more than likely it'll bring you to a tacomaworld.com thread.

    Agreed.
This is definitely still the best resource for Tacoma owners. Even with the inevitable bickering that sometimes occurs, there are sites out there that are MUCH worse.

I've found that liberal use of the "ignore" feature has done a lot to remove the rabble.
