    Hello,

Did the interior space increase at all? Rear seats? Legroom?

    Thanks

All signs point to no. If only they gave it 2" more!

Won't fit in the garage. I mean, it will, but the door won't close.

I've heard that they did carve out a little more space here and there, but it won't be significant as the cab dimensions stayed the same.

Saw a 2016 at the plant today and the rear seat room looks identical to the previous models. The visible interior size difference was a narrower console.

Sat in a crew max tundra and the rear seat room was awesome, but the mileage rating was worse than a GM or Ford full size truck.

My garage is full of fishing gear, tools, weight bench, and 300 tons of the Mrs. Christmas crap collection.

You bought a house with a non-functional garage size.

I'm not sure why many garages seem to be only 20' long. Totally useless IMO for both trucks and storage.

Well.... Only one I could afford. Didn't have $700k+ laying around to upgrade. Didn't buy the house based on garage size. Bought it based on schools, land, and size of the rooms. Garage was plenty big enough for my other vehicles, but my contracting side business has taken off, hence the need for a truck..

I just sat in a TRD OR about an hour ago. There is one more inch in the back, at the expense of one less inch in the front. I have to put the seat all the way back to sit well in the driver's seat (with boots on), so only short folks can be behind me.

My 6' 1" son can fit, but it would suck for a 4 hour trip.

Everything is a sacrifice, if mileage is your sole objective the Tundra isn't a good fit. GM's v8s do good right up until one of the AFM lifter fails wiping out the cam shaft lobe, nearly a decade after introduction they still can't get right. To get the best mileage out of the much lighter Ford you have to pony up for the ecoboost. The 5.0 is a dog in a truck.

I hear this. My house has a 3rd bay that can accommodate the Tacoma, perhaps even a long bed double cab. The thing is that I don't know if the southern Californians can appreciate having 6+ months of winter in the northeast or other places in the country. Parking on your driveway sucks with 2 feet of snow out there.

Yup. We get enough rain/ice/snow in the DC area where I am parking my truck in a garage.

Depends upon what part of California... there are parts that are not much different than that.

Indeed, I know the north can have it bad. That's why I specified southern california.
