    So how does it compare exactly to the 4.0L when accelerating from a stop? Perhaps it stays in atkinson cycle until the computer learns the driving pattern?

    Its a nice looking truck, but before you spend >$35K, seriously think of what its resale value is going to be in the next few years when diesel mid size trucks with mpgs in the 30s range will be available in the market. Its kinda dissapointing that a 10 year update with new Atkinson cycle engine mated to a new 6 speed tranny only gives ~1-2 mpgs extra.

    I was gettin on it pretty good from a dead stop.. Thats where I noticed the lack of enthusiasm from the truck..

    The rest of the truck was great, dat 3.5 tho... :turtleride:

    It also could very well be that im used to my truck..

    Regardless.. In keepin my truck.. Just have too much invested to let it go, and im in a good spot financially.. 38k OTD just isnt doable.

    I think I just like the interior and the new features really.. That's it.

    Yes, on a forum usually OP is original poster...

    In the context of gaming OP is sometimes used as "overpowered". That might pop up here, but certainly not in the 3rd gen section (in regard to the engine lol)

    i.e. "God damn AWPs (one-shot kill sniper in Counter Strike) are so OP"

    Gave the 4.7L a workout today. Think I'll keep it. Sounds nice at WOT. 19mpg maximum 15mpg combined, but sounds nice.
