What is good gear oil to use in front and rear diffs and transfer case? And yeah I am gonna use the mt 90 for my tranny

Edit: I'll use mt 90 in the transfer case too but the diffs take a GL-5 correct?

Seriously doubt those are going to work. With the TC kit a 10'' only fits when the lower shock mount is hanging below the axle. You are probably going to bottom out the shocks.

    Again, i don't think a 12'' will fit.

Not without having the upper mount higher up. Yes you can get a longer shackle but you're changing the geometery then and the bumps will need increased a lot and other things can happen.

This is true for Manual trannys, but for Autos, id disagree. The tranny pan hangs pretty damn low on the autos. Id be much more worried about that if i was an auto going offroad.

Try that. ITs cheap and easy. Id recommend not using zip ties though and using large hose clamps instead. At least at the part where it attaches to the frame.

Well, I decided to shim my drivers seat before work. Used some cut up bits from my old stock leafs to get the height. I didn't know that the drivers side mounts from a 60/40 setup were lower so my ass and my left side have been riding low the last couple weeks. The passenger seat is perfect though. Not a hard fix and I'm just about to weld it up. No making fun of the welds, the material is super thick so it took a pass or two which is a pain with FCAW because of slag.

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build

Not saying the the 13" shocks are going to work, but I disagree with this. Lower mount looks to be moved up a couple inches from factory locations, but the top mount is significantly higher. 10" shocks seen to be well matched with stock locations and 4" or so of lift, so TC saying to use 8" or 10" seems to be wrong. That or they're measuring around less lift SUA lift.

I see no other reason to put shocks in the wheel well but to use longer shocks easier. Seems like a hassle on 1st gens with tire clearance. I've got 10" easily fit under the bed on custom mounts. Next spring will be trying to get 12" shocks in without cutting the bed.

So I bombed the highway that has gnarly inconsistencies, fire road style and my corner light popped out so now I have to rewire my halos when I get home.

Anyone know where I can get cheap 01-04 corner lights?

customs mounts yes, but in stock location 10'' are too long. I know this because i have 10'' shocks WITH 1'' lift shackles in stock location and they still bottom out.

I got mine on Amazon. Both corners and headlights were pretty cheap and nice quality. It was hard to compare to OEM since my OEM were so beat up.

The top chrome tab where it's screwed down snapped so now it's just held by the connector. It'll hold till the new one comes in I guess. Might gorilla glue it in the mean time.
