    Currently installing mine.. Wow the passenger side rails are giving me a headache. Holes don't seem to line up. The silicone is a sticky mess.

    Just finished install. Took longer than I anticipated. I'm guessing it had something to do with the silicone I used, which gummed up into a sticky mess. I also had to re punch 3 holes as they didn't quite line up.

    Thought I'd throw up a pic for those mounting lights. Depicted are the Rigid 20" bumper light bar top and the 40" E2 light bar mounted on the Frontrunner rack. No other lights (headlights/fogs) are on...

    Great Job! Def must have lights...:D The rear Exp rails are a nice touch. I highly recommend them. Gives it a more Expedition look than the OEM straight line rack imo. Keep up the great work!

    No worries...:) We're all here to help bro. Damn...I was looking for my invoice for the Exp rails and can't find it. I suggest you give Frontrunner a buzz and let them know which rack you have installed and they will ensure you get the correct size rail. That's your best bet. Don't want to order the wrong part!!...:eek:

    Just playing around with some Rotopax mounting ideas. Of course the tie downs would be exchanged for hex bolts. This mounting plate can only be mounted horizontally without modifications.

    Hey Rick, just received my rear/ partial side expo rails the other day. Instructions say to remove rack to install. However, upon initial inspection, it appears that I can install them without removing the rack from the mounting feet. Did you remove your rack to install the expo rails?

    Good Question: You can install them without removing the rack which I did, but it was a pain in the arce. I say give it a try, but if you see any issues then go ahead and remove the rack and install it. I remember it just being a pain to install the end pieces at the 90 degree turns since it was mounted. In hindsight it would have been easier by removing the rack to get the elbow connections in the slots. Dooable, but a pain if I can recall. Goodluck bro!

    Installed my expedition rails today. Was a fairly straight forward install. I saved some time by not fully removing the rack from the vehicle as per the instructions. Instead, I simply unbolted the rack from the mounting feet and left it sitting there. This allowed me to lift up the rear of the rack and slide the last slat to fit the two corner pieces. The only issue I ran into was that my kit included two of the same end pieces. It still mounted correctly but kinda irritated my OCD.
