Interior dome lamp is a 48led panel array. and the Map lights are also LED arrays. (no photos of these, although if you REALLY wanted them I could get some.)

Maybe I missed it, but what company makes your lightbar and how much did you pay for it?

Has anyone had problems running LED pods as fog lights using the factory wiring? Or did anyone skip all that and run new wiring/switch for the fogs. I got to thinking that with the "Fog Light Anytime" mod, the factory wiring may not be enough to handle the constant pull. Ideas?

My pods are wired into my fog light qith the fog light mod. Leds don't pull that much power so you would be fine. I got an extension from my hid fog lit kit, snapped the extension in half and butt connected the male end to the pod wiring so now essentially they're plug and play. 20150910_194217_LLS.jpg

Thanks! Just curious. I was about to do it and a buddy of mine got my thinking about it and planted the doubt. Lights will be installed first thing in the morning!

The fogs already have a relay. Add a second one? Is that possible? Granted, I have a limited understanding of electrical, but I thought relays essentially amplify the electrical signal. Wouldn't running two relays in series cause some sort of overload? (Amplifying and already amplified signal)

BTW, I was planning on running 18w pods as fogs and I don't plan on running them as DRLs or that often as they would be too bright for our fellow motorists. Dunno if that would still be too much. I saw on another thread there was a member that wanted to run a full light bar off the factory fog wiring. I know that has got to be way too much for the factory wiring.

Do not run off factory stuff. Get a wiring harness. It safe. And still clean

That's two for a new harness. I know there's more of you out there that have run them on the factory stuff I just can't remember from all the build threads I've read. Just looking for feedback. Last thing I want is to burn some wiring (or worse) for the sake of looking cool with fancy lights.

Use the factory power wire to the fog lights to activate the new relay, get an in line fuse holder and a 14-16 gauge wire, run install the fuse holder at the battery and the new power wire to the relay and then to new pods.

    10ft 14 or 16 gauge stranded wire
    fuse holder
    fuse
    relay
