Congrats. I have had my 2015 for two months now and sometimes wonder if I should have waited. Right now I am trying not to second guessing my decision...

Personally I think you made the right decision. Why pay more for a bunch of electronic gimmicks and distractions? I remember when a brand new fully loaded tacoma cost half of what they want for em now.

They never cost close to half what they do now. I bought a '95 1/2 SR5 XtraCab 4x4 V6 MT brand new. First Tacoma ever sold by Classic Toyota in Mentor, Ohio. It was $26,500. That same truck today is less than 6 grand more than that. It's actually remarkable how little it's gone up in 2 decades.

All of the dealerships here in CT have said late September...not sure why Boston would be so much longer.

    I was like 5 or 6 (1970-71), but I can remember seeing 23 cents a gallon.

The TRD Sport is on the lot in Reading, PA. They said they are expecting TRD Offroads on the lot sometime after September 15. Odd how every dealership within 75 miles of me has nothing until maybe November and one is getting several in. It's not even the biggest dealership in the area.

    LOL
Reminds me of trying to find craft beer in the area. Some distributors can get certain beers, while others don't and/or can't get it.

I'm sure Toyota has some play in that - how many trucks get placed in certain regions so there's equal distribution across the states ??? Or maybe its based on dealer sales numbers ?? Or incentive programs the dealers get involved in?

I'm sure Toyota is cranking them out full time to get them across the US before the holidays. There's gotta be holiday incentives.....or even 'end of the year' profit margins to meet.
