    I'm surprised how much defense this it finding. Blocking a handicap ramp is like backing right up to a door. If a wheelchair can't get up the ramp that person can't go in at all.

    This is a 30 year old building and I agree the sidewalk is poorly designed. However, the building owner chooses to keep this ramp clear so those with disabilities can get access to their needs like the rest of us. It is not the blue government sponsored parking space you are looking for. But personally I could care less. You don't park over a sidewalk. Especially when they could have parked several FEET away and not blocked anyone.

    If you soon this thread you'll find the "asshole" requirement went away long ago.

    This is the space they parked in. The ramp itself is clearly marked as though it is meant to be left open.

    Perhaps the building owner should paint off the entire spot right there since the marking is screwed up and not covering the entire ramp to begin with.
