Delete this? This is some of the most entertaining and most educational stuff on the 'net! Dr Phil could do 3 season on just this thread alone!

OP: Your comments are why I read the forum. Tacoma world has turned into a bunch of pussies snarking on everyone. Your in-depth written description is why Tacoma world turned into what it is today.

I too was Really really looking forward to wanting to like this Tacoma the way I really like the 2009 I have.

Now really really waiting for a refresh/come to their senses Toyota will put out in 2.5 years.

I can't wait for all of this stuff to go back to the 2nd Gen section of the forum.
In reality, that's where this post belongs.

Perhaps we should delete any thread that isn't a serious discussion on Tacoma's. There should not be anything on here entertaining or of anyone else's view and be strictly serious. Standby, I think I hear the Kotex driver making his rounds for whiners.

It's all the communist pinko 3rdgen politically correct fanboys. Say anything negative on the 3rd gen and they get offended and then they call out for the moderators to help them. Fore shame.

I bought my Baja in June 2014 knowing full well that the chances of a Tacoma redesign in 2016 were almost certainly imminent.

I traded my paid off 2011 I4 AC 4x4 and have a pretty low payment that I don't want to go up anymore. Even though I like a lot of the features on the 2016, overall it's just not doing it for me and the features aren't enough to warrant taking a big hit. If the 2016 was averaging 26-28 mpgs I might think about it, but I don't know if I can get past the looks of it - not that it's horrible, just doesn't seem to flow design wise. That being said, I love my Baja and I hate having another truck note so I'm paying this one off and keeping it for as long as I can.

Still have much interest in the 2016 though and love to hear about it.

I'll add millennials (some) to the list.

    Do I get a trophy if I buy a 3rd Gen.?
