I measured my newly built garage (just moved in in January) and I have 6 inches of room front and rear to park a DCLB 2016 in the garage. No way am I parking my dream vehicle outside. Just need to find a way to prevent the wifey from pushing the front end into the pantry.

My garage is 229" inches deep. The LB will fit, but barely. And I agree.... My wife would ram the wall into the den.

In California, any Toyota truck left parked in your driveway is susceptible to having its catalytic converter stolen.
They then take the converter to recycling yards where they get about $20 for it.

I've also seen a plate that bolts to the bottom of the truck that doesn't allow the cat to be removed even if the pipes are cut.

Shame we have to go to such measures just because of tweekers.

Some of these geniuses have gone about their business in mall parking lots.
Those are the ones that get caught.

This is typically a crime of opportunity. They drive around in the tweeker-mobiles late at night looking for our trucks left parked outside.

I've yet to see a case where they broke into a garage to steal a cat.

Actually, the Tacoma in my profile pic, or what's left of it is sitting in some junkyard after being plowed into by a kid texting on his cell phone.

When I get my 2016 (thanks to a VERY generous settlement) I'm just going to leave it in my garage and wax it everyday.
Can't risk taking it out and getting run into again.

Actually, they can be pretty sophisticated. I had mine stolen from my work parking lot...with security cameras and only 20 yards from office windows. I noticed it was gone when I went to leave for the day. We watched the video and these guys knew what they were doing. No license plate number. Hell, you could see the someone opened the door on their truck but couldn't even see what the person looked like. They blocked the cameras by parking in front of my truck, the guys snuck out of the back door of the truck and under my car. Truck drove off. A few minutes later truck pulls back up, see the rear door open and was gone. You could never see the guy under my 4runner. The suspicous vehicle was only in our parking lot for less than a minute. It was certainly orchestrated. These weren't just some random crack heads looking for scrap metal.

This happened in the middle of the day on a busy street.

The Tundra gets crappy milage becauase it has a crappy engine design.
The Ford ecoboost actually gets worse milage compared to the standard V6 in everyday life for most people because they don't know how to keep their foot out of the boost. The V8 damn near gets the EPA numbers of the Taco.
Milage is only a sacrifice with Toyota when it comes to trucks.
