All good, bro. You like what you like, I like what I like. Oh yeah, the wheels were part of the reason I got this too.

    No mods whatsoever!
I believe a TSS is an SR5 with some extras. So basically you don't get the rear locker or TRD shocks which ultimately get replaced with upgraded suspension anyway. So is the Off-Road package worth paying $3100 or Sport $3800 more? To each his/her own, I say.

My dad did nothing mod wise on this truck, so the TRD was perfect for him. Then he gave me this truck after he got himself another truck and I'm currently modding it up but with 127,000 miles I say it was worth the money in the long run for me & my dad. Now that I'm getting some money I will put a bit of a lift and keep the same wheels but put different bigger tires on. So I'm still keeping the TRD locker, wheels and skid plate that was included with the package.

Yea I'm keeping the same wheels for my truck once my tires go bad.

The only thing I will be replacing from the TRD package will be the coils and the shocks. I will keep the skid plate, but have a full covered transfer skid installed.

I remember the stock skids, lol. Funny how life is. You got your truck from your dad. I gave my old one to my dad. I was once TRD hardcore too ( this is my third Tacoma and the first two were TRDs). Like I said, to each their own. When I am done with this one it will be built exactly how I want it. Have fun building yours up.

Yeah TW has become my addiction in the last few wks since joining. It is amazing how much info is on here from fellow taco owners. Now that my truck doesn't rattle and sound broken it has been super great to drive! Def happy to be a taco owner!

Completely off topic.... but do you mind sharing what you paid? I'd love to know since it was slightly used. Beautiful truck.
