Limited Interior - Hickory & Gray

Just placed a deposit on a white limited that is expected to arrive in a month or so. The interior description was listed as Hickory. I'm thinking that's cool as I like a light tan interior. When I get home I see pics on the interwebs of the "hickory" interior and it looks like tan leather seats in a dark gray interior with an additional patch of tan on the dash and doors. Not a very pleasant sight. Please chime in if you have or have seen a limited and give your opinion of the Hickory. Thanks!

 

Not sure about the actual options/colors.....but that interior looks great to me.

Yup, I like it. Much better than the lighter tan I see in other vehicles out there.

The only interior color is hickory. The pictures were taken with two different cameras and look different, but are the same. It's likely a mix of the two pictures as seen in this image.

Saw several Limiteds in different body colors at the plant this week and the tan seats with dark gray trim was a strange color combination

 

The Hickory with Blue seen here really caught my eye...that's the combo that I ordered.

 

Get the limited in Quicksand colour with tan interior. Grab a Fedora and you can officially drive 20 below the speed limit for life.

I originally thought I wanted the limited interior but I'm moving off it now. I need to see it in person but the black TRD seats and a manual transmission are calling my name atm

 

The pictures you (OP) posted look good to me. I like the combination.

 

Test drove a Gun Metal Gray Limited today at the local dealer. I wanted to test drive the new engine and get an idea for the new interior. I have a white TRD OR Access Cab that should arrive in the next 10 days or so.

Impressions - the hickory interior was nice. My wife felt that the dash and some of the gray moulding on the doors felt a little cheap. Overall the interior was comfortable however.

The engine is certainly adequate for my needs and it was quieter than I expected.

I look forward to my TRD OR on order. I don't think the limited in the form of a DCSB is worth the ~40kish before tax. I'd have been tempted with a DCLB possibly.

 

I know a guy who has a 2015 Tundra with that same tan leather interior and I noticed the drivers seat is already getting dirty black on the edge where your butt rubs when you get in. I was surprised it was like that already at 6 months!

 

Go look at a limited 4Runner. It's the same interior. It is not tan, it is a dark brown.

I personally do not like it, but I don't like any of the interiors for the Taco. They all need some custom work.

There needs to be a tan interior option. If I was still getting the white sport I'd be doing a custom leather interior with a new carpet and a dash kit later on.
