Ok guys, I really really need some help with my truck. I'm to the point where I might go leave it at a carmax parking lot and call it quits!

    Ok here's the details
2013 dcsb prerunner 2wd sport with 27k miles absolutely never been in any sort of accident
That might cause the following issues that have me extremely stressed out. 285/70/17 duratrac with stock rims and spidertrax in the front.

After I installed the 4" lift kit from headstrong off-road (the bundle with maxtracs, bilstein 5100 and Dakar leaf pack and rear ome shocks) the problems started.

First the front end had alignment issues, I believe it was because the alignment guy didn't know shit so it was pulling to the right, and he somewhat fixed it. He did everything the old fashion way with no computer so I don't have numbers for that, all this was 2 weeks ago.

Last Saturday I installed the rear lift and and torqued the bolts to 90lb and I think I did everything right, should be prety straight forward take old leafs out put new bushings in to new leafs with them facing the rear and install the new shocks.

    Here's where the frustration started.
I took it out for a test trive and quickly noticed it was "dog tracking" the rear of the truck is trailing to the right and the front seems to be pointing left but it drives straight, at one point I thought it was my imagination so I had someone drive it and I followed and I was correct.

I have since then taken the rear apart 2 times and still fucking drives sideways!
Took it in to a different alignment shop today to get it aligned to see if it would fix it and as I had imagined the guy said the rear shouldn't be off at all and he had no clue why it's driving sideways so he did his best with the front since it needed adjusting and ended up leaving it with the wheels straight but the steering wheel crooked, I left then said oh hell no and went back. Waited 2 hrs for my turn and he took it for a test drive and said it was a little off and it wasn't a big deal and I insisted for him to straighten my steering wheel, he tried but left it worse! Then he said its impossible since my front end bushing are worn out and h can't fix it properly until I fix that, but wtf man it's only got 27k freeway/street miles. I'm going back Monday to make him fix my steering.

Back to the rear wich is my biggest issue. After I got home I crawled under and noticed the driver side front leaf spring bushing isn't properly centerd so I loosened the bolt and fixed it in place with a bar and tightened it down as hard as I could, drove it around and came home and it's out of place again, now I'm thinking I got a defective leaf spring since it's not holding the bushing I place and one of the leafs is striking out more than the others. I don't know I'm just frustrated somone please help me out

On my phone and kinda perused the post. Is the leaf pack centre pin seated correctly in the centring hole on the top of the axle? If not your rear axle will be crooked and cause that tracking issue.

If you just bought that truck, I'd take it back (My opinion), That truck may have drifted into a curb or something and knocked it all out of whack.

Go to a real alignment shop, with laser calibration. Having the numbers will let you see where the problem actually is.

He has a picture of the alignment sheet. It was done on a Hunter machine which is what we use at the dealership.

Something is way off with your front end to start. The included angle is way off and that is usually an indication that something is bent or something, along with the SIA. It also looks like they didn't even check the rear alignment, yes i know it's a solid axle with no adjustment but it would still give the whole picture. Also, a broken center pin might be the issue. Broken center pin causes dog tracking. My advice is to take it to the closest dealership and tell them exactly what you said on here. Pretty sure we charge less that $100 for an alignment. Have techs that work on Toyota day in and day out put their hands on it.

No, I bought it new it all started ever since I messed with the rear, is the bushing supposed to move in the front if the dakars?

The second place is a more professional shop with more modern machines, they attached some thing to the each wheel to get some numbers, i added the print out for you guys to see. I can't think of anything else besides puting my stock leafs on and testing to see if the dakars are defective

Does it matter that the wrong tire size is listed on the alignment specs?

When you mess with suspension stuff can get weird. IMHO, Toyota spent TONS and TONS of $$$ for smarter people than your or I to put out a well designed truck. I am a big proponent of stock.

Any idea what it might be? All I did was install maxtrac spindles and 5100's with stock coils set at the second notch from the top, then the guy at the second shop where I got the print out said my front end bushings were worn out and that that was making it hard to properly align. What's SIA?

Tire size on the sheet is irrelevant.

Somehow I missed the printout on my first viewing of the thread. I don't see anything out of place with the numbers (I'm no expert or mechanic, though).

How much is the steering wheel turned??? This is important. With your numbers, you might still feel a little pull and have to compensate while driving. It shouldn't be enough to make a real difference in tire wear as long as you rotate them every 5K. This is the price of messing with vehicle geometry. If the first guy adjusted the tie rods (not sure if they're adjustable, but assuming they are), it will be way off and you're in for some real frustration - even if you go back to stock.

As for the way the rear spring sit...that seems to indicate that you have some real issues that need to be dealt with. :notsure:

The only thing that comes to mind is the bushing is slipping out of place making it drive a lil sideways or the leaf spring is defective

It looks pretty centered to me. The gas tank is wider than the muffler, so it's kind of an optical illusion. Measure to the frame on each side, but be aware you will have trouble being exact and therefore might come up with slightly different numbers.

I was hoping to hear that, ok so I centered the bushing again. Tightened the leaf up from the front and took it for a test drive, it somewhat drove fine until I did a left u turn then i felt it dog track again. I checked the bushing and it's out of line again. Do you guys think this might be the problem?

I know this isn't helpful, and I write it with a bit of sympathy, but I cant agree about no accident.
