    here's another one...this 16 over-fender just doesn't do it for me.

Personally that is one of my favorite thjngs about the exterior styling of the 16..less pronounced flares. Overall they have a thinner profile which I like.

I like new over fenders as well, good improvement from the 2nd gen.

The 2nd gen fenders and flares look like they are from the late 90s/early 00s with that broad, soft character line. That is easily the most dated thing on the 2nd gen other than the interior.

You're all fuckers. I come on here to look at pics of the new trucks even though I plan on waiting a few years. So I'm a fucker too for doing this to myself. The pics are great. I think the lines on the wheel fenders are much better than the 2nd gen.
The 16s are much of an improvement to me. I'll wait. Mine is paid off and I'll drive it for another 120k.

    p.s.
    Keep posting pics.
I still want to see the back seats of the new access cabs.

Someone needs to get a TRD OR DCLB. I'm thinking it'll look a lil disproportionate stock but when its lifted

I looked at an off-road and thought the interior was complete crap.. Looked cool but felt cheap as hell.. Went back for a second test drive and have determined it's under powered as well as having a cheap interior feel.. I think I'm going to cancel my order and look for something else.. Really pissed.. Wtf Toyota!!!

Are these tires stock for the TRD OR?
If so that is a much better tire than the Rugged Fails on the 2nd gen. Before you jump all over me for this I run Goodyear Kevlars and they have taken me many places. Definitely would purchase again. Not sure if mine are the same tread pattern but they aren't overly agressive.

I still can't believe that they didn't go with the same style front end as the 4runner. The new 4runner's are all business in the front but thats just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions....

I would be interested if you had more to share about your experience with the Goodyear AT Kevlar tires (ride, wear, noise, handling, etc.). They rank high (3rd) on Tirerack where the Rugged Fails rate almost last at 17th.

The size I have is an odd size, 235/85/16. Wanted a tall narrow tire that would still fit without cutting the 2nd gen.
I've taken mine on many off road trips from washboarded high speed treks to serious wheeling in and around Death Valley. They have never let me down.
Ride is good, wear could be a bit better but I commute 60 miles/day so that may have something to do with it. I'm glad I don't have the General Grabbers for my coummute. Noise is pretty quiet, in the 3rd gen it will be non-existent with the noise stuff they put in. Handling is great as far as I'm concerned. Mine do squeel a bit on tight turns on pavement but that is me trying to go too fast at times in corners.
I have a friend with a Frontier and he runs the same tire/size and he's very happy with is too. I do hope Toyota is finally using something that doesn't need to be switched out asap. But for people who do decide to get rid of the 3rd gen OR tire/rim combo I'll be looking for sure.

The 15 fender flare looks disgustly big. We had a PE teacher in middle school we called Thunder Thighs. Reminds me of her

If I wanted a 15 I'd be on 2nd gen forum fuck chops.. I've had 4 tacos and have every right to express an opinion on the 3rd gen The truck looks bad ass but Toyota went cheap on interior, leaf springs, drum brakes and the engine is weak.. I personally have decided to go with an Audi q7 diesel and when Toyota comes out with a diesel, because God knows they'll have to after this Atkins garb, I'll revisit the taco.. I'm not going to be the dumb ass that spends 40k for this half ass attempt

I see that, referring to members as "fuck chops" just screams "major contributor"
