So does this mean that the "What did you do to your Tacoma Today 3rd Gen Edition" thread will be getting all the traffic from now on?

I assume a lot of the negative comments are intended to be directed at Toyota in hopes they will listen to our concerns. Most of us love the Tacoma's and are passionate about them so its sad to see some of the choices that Toyota made for whatever their reasoning is. You have to admit, there is a large communication gap between their loyal customers and them but you could say that about all manufacturers.

Still loving my first gen, but these new trucks are nice. Someday when I can afford to have both I'll get one! I wont part with my 04 though, she's just too good to let go.

Little green Celica and an '83 4x4 are training in an old musty cave, '83 4x4 says, "I'm not afraid" Green Celica replies, "You must conquer your fears to become a Tacoma." 83 4x4 says "How do I do that?" Green Celica, " You must everything change, you must. Not just your outer skin, everything."

I'm buying one. But I have to say, new colorado for 39000 comes with leather, auto locking differential, power seats, hotspot, homelink, heated seats, remote start....but it's offset with recalls, irregular shifting transmission which is described by dealer as normal.

Screw that, buy a full size for that much money. Myself I'd never spend that much on a small truck, that's just asinine. I love these little trucks but none of them are worth that much. That's part of the reason we don't have many small truck offerings anymore, they are no longer inexpensive, efficient little 4x4's like they once were when the price difference between them and full sizers was significant enough to be justifiable. That and the fact all full size trucks are matching or beating small trucks in MPG numbers now days makes them all but obsolete to most truck buyers except for loyal followers that want the specific truck.

Educated guess but "shits hit the fan" is what I'm going with. Maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong :)
