    I'm thinking that might be where I need to put mine. Discount had them all at 35, seems like there standard pressure. When I got home and checked them, I put them up to 40, which I had been running my ATP at, and it's a little bit rough.

    Yeah, you will certainly be giving your suspension more of a workout on uneven pavement considering it's an E load range tire!!

    Dropped the pressure down to 39 front, 37 rear. Then drove across the state, much better. Unfortunately the tpms light started flashing and now won't quit flashing.

    I know this is not the right thread but I ordered 15 x8 steel wheels to mount my maxxes on to replace factory alloy wheels is this a good decision will it hurt horsepower?

    Without reading the whole thread. Thinking of buying these in 265/75/16 Load Range E for my 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4. Putting them on my new Bronze TRD Beadlocks for summer. How is the ride on the highway and streets with these? What seems to be the ideal pressure that works good

    Will not help mileage but with a tire that heavy it won't be noticeable. Tire will hit harder.

    The thing that kinda sold me on these was a vid, that I think DoorDing posted about the puncture resistance of these tires.

    If you ordered 15x8 you may need to return them unless your a fist gen. Minimum wheel size on a 2nd Gen is 16in.

    I was just watching a video this morning on puncture tests of the coopers. It might be the same one that you are referring to and is definitely convincing. This will be my next tire for sure once i decide on the size...either a 265/75/16 or a 255/85/16.

    Before I go all FTMFW on a set of tires my big thing is the width of the 255/85's. I have 265/75 on now and I like the strategy height of the st maxx 255/85. However I don't want the tires to be really skinny. I feel like I may lose traction if they are too thin. I haven't really seen a decisive side by side of a 265/75 and a 255/85 to tell me yes or no. Has anyone had the direct visual of this and can tell me if there is a big difference in width?
