    Hello All!

I just got my first Tacoma and I love it so far! I've lost countless hours of sleep figuring out what to do with it first! Anyway...just wanted to let you know another new Taco guy is here. Get ready for the dumb questions. :)

    Hi and welcome,
A lift wouldn't hurt to put on. That's what I'm putting on in the next week or 2.
I'm only putting a 2" lift to save my Cv's and other parts from getting damaged. If you don't have a 4WD like I do, you could put a bigger lift if you wanted too.

I think I've decided to go with a leveling kit and some 33's. Wheels are where I'm undecided. Definitely wanna go with some Chrome Steelies but not sure what yet.

I would go with a 3" lift just so you got enough room to clear those 33s  and for wheels try Fuel off-road, they got a wide selection of wheels that you can choose from.

Gotcha. I'll take a look at Fuel wheels. Thanks for the heads up on the 3" lift. Are 33's out of the question with only a leveling kit???

You can put 33s with a leveling kit but it will be a really tight fit. I can put 33s on my 2" lift I'm about to install but I'm only going for 32s to keep my gas mileage and to keep my stock wheels which I like.

For a somewhat example of what it will look like. That might be stock height on the rear.
And these are 17x9 Fuel off road with 33s on them.

Woah. Leveling kit ain't gonna work! 3" lift it is! Nothing against that Tacoma but I personally want a little more room in my wheel wells. Thanks a lot!

Notice that it has four wheels/tires + 1 tire guy on the tailgate. It probably doesn't ride like that normally.

Same here I love seeing the flex on my truck. Better to go bigger the first time than the next time. And no problem

I'm pretty new at this too!

I have a 2.5 leveling kit in the front.
17X9 Fuel wheels With Nitto Trail Grapplers 265/70/17 and it's a perfect fit.tacoma2.jpg
It's a little dark but I love how it sits.

That sits pretty nice! It's just leveled in the front? Nothing on the rear suspension?

I wouldn't put spacers on but look at the fuel deep lips, you get some stance without wheel spacers.
