I had my Bilstein 5100's installed today on my 98 Tacoma. I set the shock on the middle setting. The truck is leveled at this time. Does the leveling of a truck require a differential drop. I like to go wheeling and I don't want to jeopardize the reliability of my toyota.

Shocks work good on the road. Off road doesn't feel like much of an improvement. I am glad I did the upgrade.

So the 5100's aren't harsh on the road? Did you upgrade springs too?

Still have stock springs. Ride is improved over blown stock shocks.
