    Truck was picked up yesterday. It didn't fit on the rig that went by the 9th. It should arrive around the 18th. Also have a place to live! We grabbed a vacation rental for 5 - 6 weeks till our house (rental too) is available. Both in Fountain Hills.

    Go out towards fort mcdowell casino. Go left and head towards payson. About 8 miles I think is sycamore and its a big area to go wheeling apparently. I have yet to go. Its more of a fast paced wheeling area. But there are lots of areasout that way

    You can go a few miles past that turn off, to Fpur peaks. Turn right into four peaks, and drive the ~30miles across it along the main road. You can stop and camp, shoot, hike or just look at the views. Browns peak is a great hike/scramble.

    When you get across you can stop at the butcher hook restraunt at the north end of lake Roosevelt. Then take the 188 back to the 87 and back to the valley

    That's not far at all. I spotted a book that was all about wheelin around here... places to go, difficulty rating, camping availability, etc. Going back to buy it tomorrow or Tuesday... gonna start planning!

    And across the highway from Sycamore you also have Butcher Jones and Four Peaks which have some prerunner friendly trails.
