I'm sure it wouldn't look bad! I'd say go a little darker than mine so it isn't too close to silver. My wheels look like a different shade of gray in every picture haha

    And thank you very much!

I took the spoiler off the other day, and I was able to take some decent pictures today. TW won't let me upload the rest of them for some reason

The car is back at stock height temporally. It's killing me, but I did miss my Rally Rolla hahaha
    [/URL

I'm buying some new BC Racing Extreme Low coilovers in a couple weeks. I'm going with a stiffer spring rate so I'll actually be able to run wheels with a nice offset. I'll also be able to have some weight in the rear without the car dropping an inch. I'll also be able to go lower than I was on the megans.

I plan to have the car sit similar to this one. I'm also buying this lip in the first picture

The center was about 6 inches and the front lip things were about 5 or less

She's back:D Well she has been for the last two weeks haha.
This car is stupid low.. I love the way it sits so it's hard to even think about raising it back up a little.

My girlfriend lives on a dirt road and this is my nice parking spot where I have to leave my car. I can see the scrape marks on the dirt when I leave haha

Looks so sick being so low. I couldn't even drive my car if it were that slammed

Thanks! Probably not. It's low and slow. I do plan upgrading the alternator and adding another battery. My car struggles with my 5 channel and 500w amp to my 12 as it is, so I'll have to upgrade some stuff before I can redo the stereo.

Thank you! That's what I said awhile ago, but I'm managing on driving it somehow. It's fine around town, the freeway is terrifying though. I already hit a small drop off on the freeway and the whole bottom of the car smacked the ground. It hit so hard my windshield wipers came on, it knocked the lever all the way down.

We got a lot of rain in the desert recently! Luckily I wasn't out when the first storm hit other wise my car would've floated away like an old Mercedes did.

Here's a screen shot from a video of how bad it was on one of the intersections in town. And a link to the video if anyone is interested

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iT4CBPXjP9c

I got a couple nice pictures during and after the second storm a couple days later

    So no more front plate!

Did all 6 lights with 6k HID's, they're wired so I can have all 6 lights on at the same time

I helped lower my friends car a couple more inches and I also lowered my front 3/4 of an inch more

A few random pictures from this week

I also got spotted and finally realized how low my car really is haha

So here's a little update on the Corolla

I lowered the rear more, well as much as I could

I was happy with it, but I still wanted to go lower.

So while I was turning around in a small parking lot my front tire completely ate up my wheel speed sensor wires. The other side was already shredded so the car went into limp mode.

Also my hood latch cable was shredded as well, my hood would not stay latch latched.

Good thing I had old faithful up and running a few weeks before all this.

Old faithful is a 1982 Chevy G20 Beauville. My grandpa bought it brand new in 1982. So its one owner van and I love it haha. He wanted to non op it and let it rot. I would not let that happen so I have it now

So I went through a brief midlife crisis at 19 and put the car back to stock, fixed it, and then started looking to get rid of it. In the mean time I found a new project that could handle what I wanted to do with it.

I saw this 1990 Lexus LS400 and had to have it. One owner, clean interior and nice paint. V8 and RWD.

I ended up getting it for a little over $700, gotta love auctions. The only cons... Power steering leaks, no a/c, and the driver door doesn't open. I was able to get the door opened and it's in working order now. I got the car in Feb, I disappeared from internet after I put the Corolla back to stock.

I ended up selling the Corolla, paid it off and had some money left over. It's long gone now.

I felt a lot better about getting rid of the Corolla when the title for the Lexus came in the mail. I'm happy to be able to say I own this car and not have a car payment anymore.

That's the end of my sob story. So a current update on the Lexus.

I ordered a set of wheels and coilovers with custom spring rates about 6 weeks ago, all that should be coming this week...hopefully... I plan to have the Lexus lower than the Corolla, but I will prep the car for it. So I have a lot wires and such to move. I learned a lot from the Corolla and can't wait to get started on the LS.

Still looks great for being 26 years old.

I bunch of people where I live get their grandparents old Lexus's like that and go nuts on them. I just could go through a parking lot with it that lowered be to nervous to break something.

I enjoy reading threads of people who do their own work. As someone who had done two full suspensions on my GTO, its a lot of work but very rewarding.

I'm gonna ask something that I hope doesn't insult, but every time I see a car like your Corolla I wonder:

What made you decide that a Corolla was the car to slam and modify etc etc? I know they come cheap, but so do Scion TC's and the newer FRS...which both seem to be a bit more oriented toward your intentions.

PS: pretty good steal on the Lexus.
