Sad, with a nice day like yesterday. Everyone in my cousins house sat inside...... wtf is wrong with people. I stop drinking and wen driving around lol

 

I spent a good five hours outside yesterday fighting with the truck.

You tend to forget what all is involved in a CV swap.

 

5 hours? For a cv swap? You must not be doing it right lol

 

Had to pull both skids, both of which fought me. I had to file the front mounting bolts to get the socket to fit. Running them over rocks tends to deform the heads. Then the mid skid wouldn't come off. I've bashed it so many times that it conformed to the frame. Ended up cutting it off. Then I was finally able to start on the cv swap. Found contamination in the diff. The fluid looked like chocolate milk.

Exactly. I was expecting a quick swap.

Oh well. On the plane headed to New Orleans. Be back Thursday, unless the crew finishes the barge layout early.
