Sure is dragging out ... Hope no more delays for you.

Come across any good prospects on the house hunting?

1 so far... We've looked at 10 or 11 houses in person now. It's always a nice house, nice location, or nice price; but never all 3... haha

Thanks! That's part of why I have been in contact with Chris lately. He's sold houses for over 20 years and has a lot of advice to offer.

That is exactly why we built a house. I got the price and house right with a good location (not great). I could never find what i wanted when we looked, nothing even close.

We haven't looked into it too much, but it seems like that is pretty hard to do for a first time home owner... With any luck that will be the plan for the 2nd house :D We even have a rough plan picked out.

Not a fan of the wic in the master bath....

And I hate the angled walls in the dining room. It wastes a lot of space and makes it a difficult space to use in terms of spaces for furniture

Usually you end up with 2 out of 3. Good luck with the hunting.

My wife has been informed that our next house will have a 2 car attahed and oversized 2 car detached. she can pick out the rest.

    Good morning !

It has cooled off considerably here. The weather is beautiful though. I should be riding the motorcycle more.

    How have you been?

Yep, Unfortunately I think this is likely the home I'll die in. But I'm campaigning to expand my two car off the front to make double deep; room for my truck and the 6x6 on one side, her Highlander on the other with space in front of my workbench and tools open. Hopefully some day soon.
:fingerscrossed: A guy can wish, right?

My Chief's birthday was Sunday, they live in Manchester, NJ. They went to the boardwalk (where?) and said it was beautiful.

We're good here. Still looking for one more hunting trip opportunity before I pack up everything for Winter. And Kristi and I are going to Phoenix for a long Halloween weekend to visit the kids/grandkids. Hoping we can meet up with Chris and Julie for lunch and/or dinner; maybe a beer or two. :)

Get out there and ride before it's too late. :bikewheelie:

I agree with you. We liked the layout of quite a few houses but that WIC in the bathroom was a deal breaker. something about clothes in a moist environment 24/7 doesn't sit right with me.

This house will be sitting on at least 5 acres out in the country where we will build a decent sized shop for me to do all my garage stuff in as well as park the camper and probably the Taco since it won't fit in a regular sized garage door by then.
