The stills all looked like crap so I did a short video showing the dim function.

Fluid filmed my floor pans for preventative "maintenance". And changed my plugs 3 days ago. Which were desperately needed. Worst plug was at .069 gap, I was told by the PO they were changed recently, bad on me for listening to him and not actually checking. They were OEM denso too, so may have even been original 170k plugs. oops :anonymous:

A 2" latex mattress topper. My buddy with all the woodworking tools also happens to own a mattress manufacturing company. A "full mattress" (bigger than twin, smaller than queen) fits this thing edge to edge damn near perfectly!

    Thanks!

Yeah I thought it would. We've been using a a twin air mattress in my bed but hate it because it always goes limp. I'm gonna make a transforming platform one of these weekends like this http://www.desktodirtbag.com/pickup-truck-camping/

Gets the storage on the side and underneath, but my girlfriend likes head room so when she is with, we can sleep on the bed. Just want to find the cheapest comfiest thing to sleep on right now because egg foam is kinda pricey

Yeah for sure. I bought the truck with the lid already on, so I tolerate lack of head room. I think this mattress topper is pretty expensive and I'm pretty glad it was a gift. But look into it, cause it's pretty comfy. Have fun with the build!

Anybody replaced their lower control arm bushings? Looks like the best option is to buy new oem lca's?

I replaced mine with ES poly bushings some 25K ago. I didn't find it particularly hard. Just time consuming, and messy. According to the internet, I'm the exception, so YMMV. PM me if you have any questions. I think I still have the pictures somewhere.

On a somewhat related note, swapped in the matching 4.56 clam into my pile. Took longer than it should, but that was mostly due to not having a spare set of hands and missing tools (hex socket kit only went up to 10mm, and I needed a 12mm for the rear diff bolt sleeve thing; and I didn't have an E14 torx socket to swap ADDs, which I got to do when I noticed the new to me clam had a messed up seal). I expected a lot worse for how much folks complain about getting the clam in and out. There's plenty of room if you angle it right. In any rate, two separate trips to the parts store for the missing tools, and got 'er buttoned up. It'll take me 1/3 of the time next go-around. Here's a pic halfway through:

So I made my own satoshi grill yesterday. Haven't really seen anyone do it like this before. Not 100 percent done. Still want to paint it with bedliner, make the side peices and attach a Toyota nameplate
    image.jpg
The bolts are attached to brackets I made out of the same material.image.jpg
The barackets are attached to the original grill after i cut out and dremelled away all the plastic I didn't need.image.jpg
Mainly did it this way because I dont like the usual look where the metal is attached behind the grill. Too big of a gap for me. Also this way I don't have to worry about fiberglass and bondo to fix the inside after i cut out the old stuff.

Yah I wanted to do that too! Maybe with one of those relays that let you strobe your light bar.

I bought new bushings only from the dealer and had them pressed into a set of lower arms I had gusseted and enforced.

I thought your lowers were just plated. What gussets were put on and where?

maybe it is just plated, they have extra metal molded and welded in all the critical areas, around the bushing area, top, bottom and edge.

Energy suspension kit is garbage since you still have to destroy a regular bushing kit for the metal.
