    Defeat...

I really don't know how to do this without a rats nest of wires... so now that I have (somewhat, kinda not really) defended OPs intentions on this being a Legal mod, any wiring genius going to chime in how to do it?

I doubt this one gets answered.

It's akin to asking how to hot wire a vehicle, just in case you're without your key and need to drive it home..

Is it possible? I'm sure it is somehow.

Is it going to be a PITA? Most definitely

@ramonortiz55 has a perfectly valid point. For OP's safety we must assess side chick to determine further course of action.

At what point did I ever suggest tying circuits together?

Your response was the next one after mine, so it was a logical conclusion that you were referring to my suggestion of adding a switch to power lead for said circuit.

Yes...my logical conclusion is that if I post 2 minutes after you, and nobody else posted, then my response would be the next one after yours.

    Please re-read:

Notice the next sentence also states I know how to accomplish the feat that the OP asked to accomplish. Key phrase "I could tell YOU how to do it...". Again, logical conclusion would mean I was talking to the OP since he asked the question, stated one switch (which implies tying all circuits together)...and I quoted nobody.

Your screen name is truly misleading.

If you are running from G-men, you only need to disable the brake lights (pretty easy with a switch) and turn the rest of the lights off with the light switch! nighttime cloaking effect.

In Florida there is a law that states it's illegal to have a switch to manually disable all lights in a vehicle? That's oddly specific.

I just turn off the headlight switch, since my DRL's are switchable. (If this is not the case on the '09, then step one is disable the DRLs.)

That would mean only the brake light circuit would need to be interrupted.

Yes, that means activating two switches. The OE headlight and the 'special' brake light switch.

Surely the OP can figure that one out on his own.
