I'm definitely in if you make this happen, plus I need my 30" and 50" light bars, rocker switches, both harness' and mounts as well . . .

It's not as exciting probably as everyone thought it would be? Also no ones quick to go out and buy a near $40K mid-size truck given that the Taco's were a tough pill to swallow at $30K.

Tru, Honestly I just like the feel and power of my 07, leasving the parking lot after test driving the 16 I feathered the throttle a little bit and instantly lit both tires up out of the Yota parking lot, I was embarrassed, but somehow had a big smile on my face . . .

My dad can not provide an additional discount on this day, as he is already providing the largest discount he is able to. (15% off listed prices for TW members) BUT, we are working on some type of deal for the burrito shack!

He has light bars, harnesses, and rockers in stock.

One thing he can not get cost effectively is mounts for light bars on trucks... they come with the standard mounts, but if you want a specific mount for your tacoma, you are better off going with relentless mounts or something of the like....

    I like it..

It was like an updated 2nd gen. All the modern creature comforts I want and they kept everything else the same.

The fit and finish was well thought out and overall the truck felt much more refined. As far as power, the truck didnt have the same get up and go feeling that the 4.0 has, but looking at the speedometer the truck moves along just as well or even faster than the 4.0. I attribute this to the overall refined and sound dampened interior. Like a few others have said, it was like Lexus designed a truck, and I am completely content with that..

I think the fit and finish of the truck is perfect for what it is, ya it might be a bit expensive, but to be honest, Tacomas have always been expensive but for good reason, their resell is top notch. I like everything about the new 2016s except the performance side but that can be fixed shortly when new parts come out for them.

Im on the same page as you guys..

I LOVE the interior.. It's definitely my favorite part.. And what ive always wanted from a Tacoma.. That 3.5 tho... Just wish it had a little more torque.. Or atleast have it in a lower RPM...

I love everything about it except that..

I'm looking for a 15 with a s/c.. Best of both worlds that way.

I watched this pieced together video with the 16 Hilux and honestly I liked it more than the new Taco. It had the diesel and I think it looks better. So if I'm going to choose to have a gutless pig, I'd rather it be a diesel.

I'm just waiting for someone to come out with a complete SC Kit for the new 2016, if I do any mods, which I probably will :p It'll be SC kit, headers, exhaust and throttle body first and foremost

Checked out tacomas to make sure I made the right decision in not waiting for them and getting the Tundy. I like the interior, but after talking to Josh and seeing them, I think I made the right decision. I think the 15' with the 4.0 is the way to go

It kinda sucks.. Im spoiled with the added power and torque of my truck.. Otherwise.. Im sure a 16 would be perfect for me.. It's so damn hard to go back from having all the performance mods.

Removing boost after having it is really hard to get used too. You go to pass someone and just get pissed off every time.

I would just give it some time. I am giving the new truck a full year before I pull the trigger. Give it some time to work out any gremlins and see what the aftermarket has to offer for the 3.5.

Or maybe it goes really shitty and Toyota changes it.

Wonder how long before someone swaps in a blown 4.0 in the 16

Like ijohnny said a diesel would be a wonderful option I mean just look at all the buzz gm is getting for their mid size diesel. Also read a article that swears jeep will have a pickup by 2018 with high probability of a diesel option.
