Pretty sure I read earlier Somebody in another thread (cannot locate at moment) said they almost pissed their pants laughing when whoever they talked to at the Dublin dealership quoted them this price. Maybe I recall incorrectly but pretty sure I saw that earlier today from another poster in that area.

 

And its a 2WD. Something is definitely wrong

 

I just emailed them and asked them if they are fucking high.

 

Hey I mean, there was a thread I saw earlier today and the guy was selling his '13 prerunner with an icon lift and some other stuff for 32k...

 

That has to be what they are doing. No way a stock 2016 base with nothing added should go for $20K but even the Icon + install isn't that much.

Yeah, that is a legit, although ridiculous price. I was there last night and they tried telling me there was a mandatory 10k addendum on all 2016 tacomas. Tried selling me a TRD OR for 49k, no lift, stock wheels etc. I think they are all stoned.

 

I believe the 10K is bs. Not happening in AZ.

 

Read the description features. It's not a base truck. I'd bet it's a sport.

 

Reminds me of the "market adjustment" you used to see on the first few Prius's to hit the lots.

I recall a few dealerships who were selling them on ebay if the local customer base wouldn't go for the jacked up price.

 

Worst thing I've heard on pricing in AZ is that the trucks are selling for MSRP sticker price. This was what a salesman at Big Two Toyota in Chandler told me. I told him I'd be waiting for the hype to die down.

 

I emailed them also she told me that because of high interest in the truck that they have a addendum on them and that they were in no hurry to sell them and that they sold 2 at that price, I told her they should pull there license, she also said that they were the only ones in the region that had 6 trd trucks. I told her she was full of shit
