It's easier that way, but not necessary.

I think it's a good choice to keep it haha. You've already got so much into it (money, time, memories, etc) that'd it'd be hard to replace. Link it!

 

To adjust for the lift. Got to do It for all of them if they are not adjusted when you get thrm. Had to do ot to those ads ones aswell

you can adjust them while on the truck.. that's what myself and MANY others have done.

Yeah thats how I did mine. But with the resi's It sucks because of the hose I couldn't get any spots to crank. So I had to take them out and compress them and adjust that way

 

I know the pain.. I just worked around it. used a modified Allen Key.

 

I was talking with Jason a few weeks back and he said a punch worked well. We'll get them close prior to setting them in. No sense in making it more difficult

well, the problem is doing them off the truck.. the coilover just wants to spin. You need something to hold it stationary and be able to apply a lot of force to turn the collar. The Kings come with a punch like spanner wrench.

 

Oh nice. I used a vice and a huge monkey wrench to hold the shock from spinning.

 

that works too! lol
