ah ok. wires are all good. even hooked up my old sub and still sounded funny. could a low quality rca wire going from my deck to my bass control knob be an issue?

it was pegged out to max. by bass knob i mean a remote bass control.
i did the entire install on my tacoma with a little guidance from phil of course, so i know i installedit corectly

 

Plus, It looks like it'll only cover the cab part. If I was looking for a set, I myself would pass on this one.

 

How is Phil by the way? Havent talk to him for a couple months. Last time i talked to him was before he started flight sku.

Nah da comp s is only rated at 150wrms so the cx300.1 is perfect

phil is doing good.
hes finished alot of his school and is doing well(passed a major test recently). misses the islands. going to go spend some time as a flight instructor to get his hours up before he heads back. last time he mentioned probably December he might be returning, maybe sooner or later

 

I have a set of old rockfords an a good set of jls u can try

 

my buddy has almost the exact truck with a JL 10" and 300watt amp and almost rattles is windows loose
